(Class sizes vary and enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis.)

OUR HARMONY POLICIES

  • A Registration form & waiver must be be completed for every student prior to participating in lessons or in any trial class

  • An annual student registration fee paid (one per family).

  • Registration fee of $45 is non-refundable.

  • Late accounts will incur a $15 non-refundable fee per month.

  • No hard-soled or high-heeled street shoes are allowed in the studios. Thanks!

  • No food or drinks (except for bottled water) are allowed inside the dance studios.

  • Please bring water with you

  • Please sign in with teacher before each class!

ATTENDANCE

  • Please be prompt when dropping off or picking up your student. Please call ahead if you know you will be late. Warming up at the beginning of class is crucial to injury prevention.

  • Dancers arriving more than 15 minutes late may be asked to sit and observe class.

  • Ensure your student is with an instructor and in a lesson before leaving

  • Young students should be dropped off no more than 15 minutes prior to class and should be picked up in a timely fashion within 10 minutes after their class ends. Harmony Dance Theater (HDT) personnel cannot be responsible for students left beyond this time.

  • Dancers who miss rehearsals may be recast at the teacher's discretion.

MAKE UPS

  • There are no refunds, credits or extensions given for classes missed.

  • Make-up classes are given as a courtesy and are available for currently enrolled students whose tuition and other studio payments are current.

  • Make-up classes must be taken within 4 weeks of class(es) missed. Make up classes may not be taken in any FULL class.

  • It is the responsibility of the parent to inform Harmony of any changes in enrollment. Accounts will not be refunded if Harmony is not notified of changes.

  • Please schedule all make-up classes at the front desk.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

  • Students are expected to behave respectfully and courteously at all times toward HDT faculty and staff, as well as toward each other.

  • For security reasons, cover-ups and street shoes are required when entering and exiting the building. Dance shoes are prohibited from being worn outside the studio. Street shoes should be worn into and out of the building saving ballet shoes for studio work only.

  • Students must wait inside the building for their ride to pick them up.

  • Chewing gum, food and drinks (except water) are not allowed in the studio. Food and drinks are allowed in the lounge and lobby areas only.

GENERAL STUDIO POLICY

  • Harmony Dance Theater is not responsible for personal injuries. Clients understand that the risk of injury exists in all physical activities.

  • HDT and its' staff are not liable for any damage to or losses of personal property or valuables

  • HDT reserves the right to revise the curriculum and schedule.

  • A class with fewer than 6 students is subject to cancellation.

  • HDT is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. Please check the lost and found for missing items. Periodically, all items that have not been retrieved will be discarded or donated to charity.
